Like basketball, men’s volleyball at the highest level is almost boring to watch.I prefer womens volleyball. Seems to have more strategy. Mens seems to just be serve and the receiving team just hammers it down.

True. There has been some talk of raising the net.Like basketball, men’s volleyball at the highest level is almost boring to watch.
Same here The 8 PM kept us away but, what a win to watch on TVWe have tickets but decided not to go because of the late start and having work to do. Kind of fun to watch and listen in TV. We’re raising eyebrows with our play so far.
NotIt had to be the black uniforms - those are sharp, imho.
The groaning stands. Got swept at Manhattan.Got to admit I figured I’d watch the first set then and be done. Where has this team been? Maybe CJL really has been trying too find the right combinations. Whatever, she found them last night. Still need to clean up the service errors, but the play like this at Manhattan this week and I’ll take back everything I have groaned about this team
I did not watch the KSU match but after checking the box score, I noticed Aliyah Carter for KSU only played one set and didn’t start. Is she injured? The groaning stands. Got swept at Manhattan.
Honestly same! Prefer the men's side. Cool to see the crazy athleticism. Sad ISU will probably never have a men's team...would honestly have a better chance at adding Women's Beach but even that is relatively unlikely. The Longhorns are likely adding beach as a way to help ensure they continue to recruit competitive players.Depends on what you like. I like men's more because there is more athleticism and insane plays, though rallies are usually shorter in men's
Honestly, the only way to add a men's team is to add another women's sport too. If Iowa State gets a huge influx of cash at some point, adding men's indoor and women's beach could be a possibility. I don't expect that anytime in the near future though.Honestly same! Prefer the men's side. Cool to see the crazy athleticism.
