Read in the daily about the ISU victories this weekend against eiu. It mentioned two eiu players given game misconduct penalties for their reactions to the fans. What happened? Anyone see this?

I was at the game on Saturday night, and I didn't see anything particularly offensive other than Iowa's quality of play. They were clearly out of their league. The Cyclones would lift-check and get the puck on nearly every pass.

I would estimate that ISU spend 55 minutes in Iowa's zone, and I recall reading that Iowa had something like 4 SOG.

From the write-up it's fairly apparent that Iowa State has a hockey team; it's also apparent that Iowa -- originally known as SUI but now under the alias EIU -- doesn't. :yes:
