I was watching the UMASS and Dayton game on CBS College Sports and Steve Lappas gavehis 4 #1 seeds and then gave his top sleeper team in the NCAA and he said its Iowa State as his top sleeper team..:wideeyed:

Who could this team not beat on any given night? We have at least five players that can step up and lead the team to a win. We have one of the most talented players in the country running our offense. This team has a chance to be special.
I posted this somewhere else but this team has all the things that you do not want to play against.
Great guards, possibly the best defender in the country, impossible matchup in Royce, and that guy that just makes everything in Scotty.
Everyone can hit the three...and you not only have one bad matchup in Royce but you know Babb is coming for your best player. So actually that is two bad matchups.
Plus...you can't prepare for it. Not a lot of 6'8 guys that can handle the rock like that, and odds are...you got no one that can shoot like Scotty or defend like Babb...so you get in a game, and you just aren't ready for it.
This team can make a run. It's up to them
The only teams that I think are going to be really poor match ups for us are more than likely going to be one or two seeds. I think it's going to extremely important to try and get at least a split next week and win a game or two in the tournament so we can move up to a 6 seed or better.

OMG YES! I ALSO CANT WAIT TO FILL OUT MY BRACKETS! I'm losing sleep waiting to fill out my brackets. I cant concentrate at work. Bracket filling out is so awesome. OH MY GOD I CANT WAIT!

This team reminds me of a story I read about Tim Floyd's 95/96 team. After that team beat Kansas in the Big 8 Tournament championship game, the coach of the little no-name 15-seed team that had the misfortune of having to play Kansas next actually thought his team had a chance to beat Kansas because, after all, Iowa State beat Kansas, so so could they, right? The problem was, his team was not Iowa State. They lost by about 40.
If only we could have scotty another year........ Imagine what kind of a season we would have had if these guys had played together last season. I hope that next year with the absence of scotty someone steps up and can fill his shoes. He has had a couple of rough games, but he has always stepped up when the team needed it most.
I look for Chris Allen to be Scotty next year. He's certainly capable of it. Well, except for the wiggles and throat-slash thing...
