Regardless of what company makes our stuff after this contract expires I just hope we get better designs. Half the time I go to buy a new ISU shirt I end up leaving empty handed because so much ISU apparel looks something a first day intern designed. There's some good stuff out there, but not much.

There is this company initials CF that makes cool Cyclones shirts. You just have to wait for them to offer them again.

I picked up a Raygun "Prohman Empire" shirt at HyVee the other day. Local, but not underground. Rueben Tees used to have some decent shirts, but they haven't refreshed in quite awhile (still have Mayor and "Sons of Paul" shirts.)
None are as good as the "I'm so proud to be your shirt" that I picked up from another CFer, in the parking lot at JTS. Felt like an elicit drug deal, just waiting to go bad, with the ISU logo police coming down hard... Funny, I wore that one to oSu one year, ended up tailgating next to some FB support staff that didn't travel w/ the team. They insisted on taking my pic to show coach, that he'd enjoy the humor.

I wore my "I'm so proud to be your shirt" t-shirt to a CF Recruitment Day Party. John Walters saw it, brought me over to Coach Rhoads, and gave him a marker to sign it. He really seemed to enjoy it. We have it framed in our man-cave.
PS The ISU logo nazis did put a stop to the guy who was selling them.

You can put an ISU logo on any kind of shirt you want on Custom Ink's website. Make your own shirt.
In my experience with Custom Ink, they will call you and ask you to provide written approval from the school's trademark people if your logo contains ISU trademarks or logos.
ISU said no, so I had to change the design of my shirt or else custom ink wouldn't print it.
Good to know, never tried to order from them but saw the logos on there and that they are on ISU's vendor list.
We could be next. Just sayin. Or maybe even something different. Like something more Ohio-y.
My college gig was making custom T-shirts for universities across the country. Strangely, ISU has the strictest trademark and logo policy of any university and this was even before the NormL shirts fiasco. I imagine ISU found a way to make their already strict policies worse.
i remember back when i was in a fraternity, ISU made us stop using cy on one of our shirts for a philanthropy. I still don't understand why ISU had an issue with it.
