Hope we speed up our offensive pace, as I think Purdy functions best that way. This has us as 104th in the country in pace.
This is pretty good info...why...why are we calling plays so slow. Supposedly we have the depth to interchange pieces if we speed up plays. That last drive vs. Baylor was a killer. Speed it up, Coach!

Is rhythm doing things faster or doing things consistently? If the offensive players are comfortable at the pace they are going, then let them.Rhythm is so important in pretty much any sport and it's weird that this much experience can't find it yet.
I don't think Oregon or Oklahoma hurry up style like 10 years ago is needed but get downhill and stay there.

Nothing sucks like a Big Orange! Is rhythm doing things faster or doing things consistently? If the offensive players are comfortable at the pace they are going, then let them.
Keep in mind that Tennessee is fastest paced. And 6tennessee sucks.

I especially like it when they ramp it up after a successful play. Don't let the defense sub or get its balance.

Yep, and those run plays, if I recall, were simple Breece up the middle calls that basically wasted a down and killed momentum. Coach, follow the big play up with a kill shot.Agreed, but we need to run play action out of that hurry up look. I know we had 3-4 plays against baylor after a bigger play that we went hurry up. I believe all of them were run plays.
It's probably not a fair comparison, but Aaron Rodgers does a fantastic job of these hurry up plays.

We definitely have a tendency to run it on first down.
I think we will have 33 by halftime.We won’t score 33 points.
We didn’t even beat them by 33 last year when we were playing better and Kansas was worse than this year. So not entirely sure we can cover that.

Backups need to play a lot in this game. Getting young talent some reps will go a long way in boosting team morale. And oh and let's get some explosive games in the pass game. Ramming Breece 22 times up the middle is just not necessary this week.I think we will have 33 by halftime.
For Kansas, star kick returner Kenny Logan won’t be playing in the first half as he serves the one-half suspension stemming from a targeting call last week. Wide receiver Kwamie Lassiter will take care of punt return duties
