I don't think Steve himself is unhappy with Ames. I've heard the rumor it's his wife, however there are some posters on here that have said otherwise. Yes, I do think Prohm will be at some mid-major next year, but that mid-major is not going to buy out 100% of Prohm's contract.

Plus, what other school would touch Prohm right now? He took a very good bball program and ran it into the ground in a very short time.

Prohm could easily sell mid major programs on the positives he had at Iowa State while writing off the negatives as rebuilding years and a COVID year.

Agreed this is kind of like Michigan and Harbaugh where they hope he left on his own but its different in that if he doesn't he will be asked to leave

I could see him doing well at a southern mid major type. Maybe in the sunbelt for example

I think that JP is going to help Steve out. They have a really good relationship.

Checked the recruiting classes on 247 from 2017 till now and ISU has out recruited Iowa every year.
