Per Jeff Borzello on Twitter:
Among the visits canceled this weekend, at least partially due to weather: Isaiah Stokes (Florida), Deng Gak (Florida), Ikey Obiagu (NC State), Garrison Brooks (North Carolina).

Stokes has set his final 3 visits.

@KP_Rivals IMG power forward Isaiah Stokes will visit Florida this weekend, TCU Oct. 28 & UNC Nov. 5. has already been to Iowa State & Tennessee.

Now with a breakdown on his list of schools.

"Iowa State visit: "Iowa State was a good visit and different from Tennessee. Georges Niang and Monte Morris came out for the weekend and I got to talk to them a lot about the program. I’ve known the coaches for awhile because they came from Murray State and that's where Cameron Paynewent and he's from my hometown. Coach (Steve) Prohm and Coach (William) Small, they’re real down to earth guys and keep it real with me and that’s something I really appreciate."

I guess I completely missed the Cameron Payne connection. Any little bit helps.

Sterling Manley PF commuted to North Carolina. Getting crowded in Roys front court.

I'm guessing this will speed things up a bit for him.

Still not sure we land him but this might take UNC off the board. Probably didn't have a 100% offer from them, hence scheduling his visit for November. Any time a blue blood is scratched off the list it's a good thing obviously.

Hopefully it's down to us and Tennessee.

North Carolina has six scholarships to give so they still have two openings.

Highly doubt he's going to be scared off by two sub 200 post players.

That said, Vanderbilt also visited this weekend and they have another high profile recruit coming in soon.

I think Stokes is slow playing UNC as much as they are slow playing him. He wants to see who they nab before he Makes a final decision.

Also, I noticed he did the shout out for retweets and likes going into the Tennessee and Isu visits but tweeted nothing before going to Florida. He might also just be going through the motions with his final visits with ISU and Tenn as his top two.

If I had to guess who's doing the slow playing, I'm going with UNC, not Stokes. The visit dates tell a lot, IMO. Regardless of stars, it appears they targeted Manley and Huffman first.

They have 6 scholarships but 4 are now taken. They may prefer to hold one more for someone else. Because of his frame, Stokes is more of a true post, and they may want to use their last Forward scholarship on a SF type.

My overall point is this is good, and MAY end up scratching UNC off the list.
