Isaiah Moss Transferring

Remember Deanvogs got banned because he was talking about how good Iowa's 2014 and 2015 recruiting classes were?

Here are the scholarship players from those classes

2014:
Trey Dickerson - transfer
Dom Uhl - bust
Brady Ellingson - transfer

2015:
Brandon Hutton - transfer
Isaiah Moss - transfer
Andrew Fleming - transfer
Ahmad Wagner - transfer
Dale from Waterloo - transfer
Christian Williams - transfer

Only 1 out of the 9 finished at Iowa and that was Dom Uhl. Lol wow

This is amazing lol

You said Moss got benched for Connor because Moss was a poor ball handler when in reality Connor is worse
I disagree. Moss never ran the offense...almost never brought the ball up the court when there was pressure because he was really bad at it. That’s why he typically came out when closing out games and Connor was put in. That doesn’t mean Connor was better than Moss, he wasn’t, but he was better in those situations.

So you disagree with what you said? This is moving the goal post big time. LOL

Connor had the highest turnover percentage on the team. I'm confused how you don't realize that

It has really gotten bad around here. Try to be a little reasonable, and everyone jumps on you. I'm afraid at what might happen if Iowa wins again this fall.

The guy saying "well I watch all the games" while arguing against advanced statistics is the one being reasonable? Lol

You only watched a couple Iowa games and I watched them all....he wasn’t good with the ball. If he was he would have played more. When teams pressed at the end of games he was usually on the bench which probably helped his turnover rate.
While McCaffery was forced to trim his rotation this past year because of injuries, he still left Moss (and others) on the bench for exceedingly long stretches at times. A three-year starter who shot 39.1% from 3-point range for his career had to get frustrated being left on the bench during crunch-time moments.
There are good intentions in trying to spread out minutes, but the best players should always play the most minutes — and the most important minutes. And Moss was one of Iowa’s five best players.
The Hawkeyes will miss Moss most in his ability to create his own offense.
I always thought he should have been a more widely used asset when the shot clock was winding down. Moss’ ability to space the floor will be tough to replace.

Last I knew, he wasn’t exactly tearing it up on the diamond either.

Thanks for the reminder that college baseball exists.

*Cue up hokdom with 'that's because you wouldn't know how to cheer for one since ISU has no program' but the fact is I've never met a single Hok fan that talked about Hok baseball, and I don't know a single person who discusses college baseball in general.
