Isaiah Austin to Baylor

LaBryan Nash
Quincy Miller
Deuce Bello

Better take them to a football game because only 8 or 9 people show up for the basketball games.. oh wait only that many show up for the football games as well.

For the record 34 k at each football games and that includes Texas and OU coming to town.

For the record Baylor is ranked 69th in MBB attendance. ISU is 26th

Quit making sense, does that matter when you are getting paid?
I mean, AROD was making a ton at Texas and 5 people came out in that sauna to watch him play.

Hope all that makes you feel better when you lose to us every year.

I find it hard to see Quincy or Deuce there. They're visiting because your coach hired Clifton, that's it. If they do end up there, it's because the Clifton that runs D-1 is a thinly disguised agent.

I LOVE when Baylor loses. I think they are my most hated team simply because we have been bad recently but still beat them regularly however their fans talk about us like we are crap. They are the only BXII team I actively cheer against.

Nebraska should always be #1 on your list.

I believe we won our last matchups with you in football and MBB, but nice effort.

Iowa State Cyclones vs. Baylor Bears - Recap - February 03, 2010 - ESPN

Miller and Bello are not a given by any means. They were rumored to soft commit to UL after cancelling a visit to Baylor this month. They have since visited UL without a public commitment and have trips scheduled to Baylor and Duke. Another one of their friends is already on Baylor's roster, Stargell Love. Should be interesting.

In Lubbock for doctor school.

Love this quote from Perry Jones on why he picked Baylor:

“When I was being recruited, I never worried that the arena [in Waco] wasn’t full or that they were going through ups and downs,â€￾ Jones said. “I fell in love with the school the moment I stepped on campus for the first time in eighth grade. They didn’t even have to recruit me. I knew this is where I wanted to be."

Now, I'm not saying that this is any proof of any wrongdoing at all, but isn't this exactly what you would say to the media if you were taking benefits to go to a school that doesn't have tradition or a fan-base?

I also love how even the most glowing puff-pieces, like this King article, say that Baylor is getting ahead through its recruiting, but not really mentioning what selling points are being used to recruit, aside from being 2 hours from a big city and making players go to church.

The usual selling points for high school recruits, such as facilities, fan-base, tradition, etc., apparently haven't mattered for Baylor's recruits, which is strange.

Obviously, again, the Baylor fans are going to say that because there is no proof of wrongdoing, then all of this is moot. That's correct, but I just can't shake the feeling that there's some wrongdoing going on.

Best or close to the best practice facilities in the country. The golden boob is old and small, but it can still be quite the atmosphere. Keep an eye out for college gameday in the spring. Playing time and play style have consistently been sighted by recruits as the main reason for coming. I'd bet you've never been on campus either.

Of course, they say that about Kansas, too, and about every school that they end up picking. 18-year old kids aren't known for giving long-winded, fully-fleshed out answers. They tend to give answers that are based in feelings.

Sorry you guys are losing out on recruits to Baylor. Must be tough for you.
And curses for making me defend Baylor. Really? (though I guess I root for them and Texas Tech in football, so that's not all bad. And my conference hatred loosens in basketball, somehow).

Nice job with the sour grapes post. Makes it easier to root for Baylor vs. Kansas next year.
