Is TJ out of gas?

The players are who they are, but the coaching staff needs to come up with some "plan B"s for offense.

For example, sometimes our posts aren't going to able to hold the block...it is what it is. When that happens, you can't continue to pass the ball to a post who is pushed out to/beyond the FT line. That doesn't generally work well. If the post is pushed out that far, that probably means he isn't strong enough to make a viable move to the hoop. But ISU continues to pass the ball to the post who is pushed out to to FT line, and the posts try to make moves to the hoop. It happened last year, and it is happening this year.

ISU has the best scoring defense in conference play at 65 ppg. I'm not sure it is feasible to try and hold teams in the 50's for the rest of the conference season, so if ISU is going to "turn things around", I think some strides need to come on offense. And the FT shooting is another enigma...
