Is this sustainable?

Here's the thing for me now, it really doesn't have to be to make the tournament now

Would you say it was sustainable if we go 9-9 in conference? Feel like that's debatable. Unless do some really weird **** to get that 9-9 and drop multiple buy games in the process I think we're in

Depending on your expectations, but I think it is. It's not like a lot of these games have been squeakers, we've dominated most of them.

I think we can win more than 50% at home, pull out a road win or 2 in conference, and I'd call that a pretty big success.

This team is playing good but the first 6 big 12 games are brutal. Like even as good as we are, we could lose all of them. Come out of that stretch with at least 2 or 3 wins and we'll know more about this teams ceiling. It's going be fun!

Really worry the lack of bodies going to catch up at some point. Playing too hard, too aggressive - fatigue and injuries going to take a toll in Big 12. But cross that bridge when we get there.

What bodies?

I was thinking that to start but there's depth here.

Obviously if multiple top players get hurt it's a problem but this is a very interchangeable group.

The way they play is bound to lead to some nights with tired legs causing the shots to come up short. Will lose a few they shouldn’t but could still be a bubble team, which is insane in year 1.

Let me start off by saying I love this team and think it’ll continue throughout the season. I feel Brockington=Kane!

Honestly who else feels like this team is legit?
I like the Brockington/Kane comparison.

I don't know about this season for sure because outside of Brockington, I don't see a lot of consistent offense but maybe a different player steps up each game. But I love the effort and defense. I am beginning to believe the TJ era at ISU will be legit.

It reminds me of Eustachy's good teams the way they play hard.

I mean after Conditt its Jones who has zero offense... you can play Kunc there for awhile, but he's better suited at the 4.

Enough depth at the guard positions, but it'd be nice to have one more post body for fouls.

If we burn we burn I’m willing to see what happens. Pick up wins. Even if we do gas, grabbing the NIT is a major step from last year.

It is strange how our expectations have changed in one month. Great, but strange.

Kunc can play both and then Enaruna can slide around.

Jones isn't great but he competes and will keep a defense moving.

There's been ISU teams with way less depth there for sure.
