Iowa will beat us because....

We are getting too cocky as a fan base. If ISU fan doesn’t start getting serious about this game we will not leave MidAmerican Field at JTS happy. We need to stop reading the press clippings patting our bottoms for how great we are because the fans are becoming SOFT and it’s going to be a major downfall once we get in to the stands and not touch a ball or play a down. Not encouraging!

I am going to assume sarcasm here. ISU football fans are probably the least cocky fans in the world, because we are alway ready for the crap to hit the fan. It is almost like the FB gods don't want us to have nice things. The last couple years have been great, but I know stuff happens, especially when ISU plays Iowa. How many times have we seen Iowa fumble and the ball bounce right back to them, or the ball is rolling free with 4 ISU surrounding it and somehow Iowa ends up with it.

Go to the game, cheer loud and let the player know you are out there. Other than that it is up to the players and the way the ball bounces.

ISU players have to play on a field with sink holes and land mines, whereas Iowa gets to play on one of the nicest fields in the country on 9/14. It just isn't fair...

Another useless post. On September 15, when you open the morning paper and see it is a Cyclone state again, with the score something like 56-10, we can all move on to the real season, which is winning the damn Big 12.

I predict Iowa stays in the locker room after warm ups and forfeits the game. They don't stand a chance.

"it’s going to be a major downfall once we get in to the stands and not touch a ball or play a down"

Not sure how anyone could read that and think this was a serious post.

Brah, it will be the music played during intermissions that wins or loses the game.
