This seems to be a school who will be producing many D1 players in years to come, as they have been pretty dominant the past couple years in their Ju-Co division. Should Iowa State try to make this school a pipeline for recruits?

They seem to be progressing players very well. There are a few players on the roster now who i would love to see here at ISU in a year or two.

IWCC sent players to the SEC, PAC 12, Big East, and Big 12, and B1G TEN last year.

Paul Rhoads has been on campus a couple times, my friend that is on the team said he was at practice last year recruiting, not sure if he has been this year.

He was there early this season scouting a CB, SS and LB. The CB is not being recruited anymore after he stole a car or something like that.

Rumor has it Coe is more like 270 lbs than 240 and would look more like a defensive lineman, although he probably could be a very good one. was in the US army all star game for linebacking play not RB.

Rumor also has the Iowa staff has cooled on him, not sure if it has to do with effort on the field/practice or with getting grades taken care of.

by the way my source is an unnamed poster on a Hawkeye message board and by the way he knows someone that knows somebody that has some type of connection to the program, so my accuracy has to be almost 100%.

not believing it til it's on Twitter or WikiPedia

I don't know about Coe, heard he hasn't been to impressive according to some that have seen him this year. KJ 's boy plays for IWCC and had a great game against Iowa Central, said his boy is weighing like 285, and it seems the 'ol Hawkeyes have been reaching their hand out to the Jackson boy. Wouldn't that be something if Iowa States Wrestling Coach's son joins the Hawks....

I'm sure CPR knows nothing about any jucos in Iowa

I don't know if you were attempting to be sarcastic, but considering IWCC has only had a football program for 3 years, he has probably been limited with recruiting from there, hence the title of the post is about IWCC, not other jucos in Iowa.

I'm just saying, IWCC is a powerhouse juco in Iowa as of right now, and with the grades required to get in, and the quality of development, they will continue getting D1 calibur players who need some development both academically and on the field.

He is listed on their roster at 265. Also, the only reason Coe is at IWCC is so he and the Iowa staff can stay close. Iowa hasn't cooled on him. The kid could be a big time linebacker in college.

I heard someone from the IWCC program that said Coe IS 270. They also said that he is looking elsewhere besides Iowa. In fact, one school that was specifically mentioned was actually Auburn.
