Must be pretty demoralizing that the best season in Iowa State history is about to end the same as another “ho, hum” season for big brother.
Barta believes it is very important as does Ferents’ agent. More $ rolled in & the gravy train keeps rolling. Maybe the success will keep Fant one more season.
Honestly, I’m quite happy Iowa righted the ship with their final two pivotal victories over dreaded, storied rivals. Things are as they should be in Iowa City for the foreseeable future & that’s a good thing.

So the fact remains.... the best win by FAR by Nebby or Iowa this season is Iowa's win against ISU.

About 7th out of 14. If Purdue wins today, they'll finish in 4th in an awful B1G West.

I don't think you can blame KF or Barta for something like this written into a contract. Seems pretty standard stuff. I know it looks silly when Iowa didn't really beat anyone all year, but that isn't their faults. The rest of the B10 in general is an embarrassment. Even the elite teams in the B10 are not all that great. tOSU needed a great rally to beat an awful Maryland team. Their run defense was like the 1990s Cyclones.
Fans of B12 teams saying this is just so, so great. This site lives in such a vacuum.
