Iowa vs. Miami (OH)

I'm always conflicted watching the Hawkey games the week before they play the Cyclones. Despite my instinctual desire to want the Hawks struggle and fail, fall, die trying--I have learned our chances of victory against them seem to improve if ISU struggles in week 1 while the hawks have an easy opening victory. I'm basing this largely on 2005 and 2011, so it may not be the most scientific conclusion, but I believe it to be true, so I am dreading tonight....oh, and--*SIGH*--go hawks.

Iowa is big time now. Remember how they were invited to the rosebowl last year and they were too big time to even show up?
Don't forget how they were 12 - 0 last year but somehow come into this season on a 2 game losing streak

Don't forget 2007, that was the ultimate.

I really don't understand not taking a shot at the end of a half. You are getting your butt kicked, take a freaking chance. It wasn't like they were on their own 6.

Wait what? They overturned that? I turned it when it was going to review because I thought it was a foregone conclusion.

college football was better off without review, it's just an extra chance to screw a team that would have been screwed anyway

that makes no sense

They can screw you with the call on the field and the call from the booth. 2 chances. Before was just one.

Overall I'm more of a college football fan but replay in the NFL is drastically better than college football. I can't remember the last time I thought reviewing a play really screwed a team in the NFL and in college it happens at least once a game.

Still hot over that overturned call. Biggest BS call of College FB all year and we haven't even made it past week #1!!!

Rather than saying "the booth" or "someone in NY" overturned the call, I think they should give specifically the persons name that overturned the call. Not that I want to stalk anyone, but if you have the balls to overturn that call, you should live up to it.
