Iowa State Vs. Iowa

I'm thinking Iowa State has a decent chance of winning the game next week. I watched both Iowa States and Iowas games and thought that they will be pretty well matched. And after watching Iowa, I dont think they lived up to what I was expecting. EIU seemed like they were a really horrible team, and Iowa should have put up more points. What do you guys think about next weeks game?
 
It will be a closer game than last year, but Iowa will win. They are a more complete team with not many weaknesses.
 
I really like our team this year. I don't know if I should and I don't know if it's even warranted, but I think we definitely have a shot.

Our defense will HAVE to play well and keep us in the game and if our offense doesn't make many mistakes, I like our chances.
 
I don't know what will happen, nor does anybody here. I guarantee we will be better than E Ill, but will that equate to a win? No idea. We are well-coached, and they are well-coached. They have mostly three star players with a few four stars. We are mostly three star players with a few less four star players. They have experience going against our experience. They are home. They seem to get lucky and get more breaks. They should win, but four times out of ten I think we win.
 
Honestly i think Iowa State will have a chance, comes down to AA and our defensive play, special teams could be a big factor too

plus they'll have the refs on their side and probably a few more tricks up their sleeve.....at least they can't keep the grass high this year. wonder if they'll have a pump 'problem'....??
 
Watching week 1 has never been a good indication in this game. The defense has to use this week and improve as does the offense. I would never count us out but we have to score a darn touchdown first.
 
I've had this as an "L" the whole time and it stays that way still for me. That being said, I certainly wouldn't be shocked with a win. In this series, ANYTHING could happen and it wouldn't shock me.
 
Field position is going to be a huge advantage for Iowa with their punter, giving them shorter drive opportunities while we will need multiple long drives to keep it close.
 
What is everyones hard-don about Iowa, seriously Eastern Illinois was horrible and showed little life in that game at all. I really think we can win that game. I know for sure it will be closer then last year and we will get the monkey off our back of not scoring a TD.... I am really excited.
