They sure are. Anyone noticed how physical Duke has been with them and not got called for too many fouls? The way you beat Iowa is to keep them off the foul line. We'll play physical and aggressive defense, too, and I bet we'll have 8 whistles in the first 5 minutes. Hope I'm wrong. Osun and Rob have their work cut out for them against Rebraca. He's really improved.
Duke is so talented, it's almost sickening.
They're style is not like Iowa St. They're not as aggressive, and don't pressure the ball like Iowa St does. I'm guessing their numbers look good because they rebound great, and their athleticism makes it difficult for opposing teams to score.
I think he might be the next player that Fran slow plays to assure he stays around.
I don’t get how this has been admonished as much as it has, ISU has only won 4 times in Carver since 1996, 2 were under Fred in 2010 and 2014.
I keep looking at the Duke coach, thinking he reminds me of someone. All I can come up with is Fred Hoiberg with glasses. Might be a stretch.
I dont see a 'soft' Duke defense at all. I think they've been very physical, aggressive.
Very strange. Almost any coach will tell you that if you can get it to 6 with a little under a minute to play you definitely have a chance. Fran just waved the white flag.
