If they do their typical help Texas tricks as they have in past years, Jack Trice will go off.
As in, it would probably make the national news. Again.

Doesn't matter now, but no way ABC would've taken ISU/Texas for the primetime game even if both teams had won.
Well I'm definitely disappointed in the time, channel, and circumstances. I was really hoping we'd be riding high. That said, I only get to JTS once every couple of years, so I'll be ready by Saturday. I hope the crowd still has some juice in them. I suspect Texas will bring out plenty.

But yeah, I kinda feel this. I was really hoping for a juiced up crowd with a lot on the line. 2:30 given the forecast would've been an awesome atmosphere. I think we'll still have a good crowd because it's Texas, but a cold night game will keep some people away. We need this win for so many reasons.
Yeah I wish it wasn't the case but I'm with you. I'll be there, I'm actually glad it's a night game because no way could I have gone otherwise, my oldest has an all day basketball tourney so we can make it there now. I think I'm as deflated as I've ever been after that WVU loss. Normally I'm all in on listening to all of the podcasts and stuff after the game and I haven't listened to or read anything about the team. I'm listing to an audiobook about the sinking of the Lusitania for goodness sake.
"Loyal sons, forever true...." Not you, I guess. How entitled have some of you gotten in 7 years? Perspective is everything. If we were 5 - 3 heading into a UT night game 7 years ago, people would have been ecstatic.
Come on, show up and yell loud. This may be the last time we ever get to play UT in Ames. I for one want to send them out with a resounding loss and this team has the ability to do that. Plus, the CCG hopes, while not as strong as earlier, are still alive. Stay positive and do your part to make JTS an intimidating environment.
Agree with your 2nd paragraph, but disagree on the first. I’d prefer we lose the “but…program history” perspective. Keeps us from advancing the narrative. We should all be disappointed right now, the season is likely a bust.

Doesn't perspective infiltrate our lives in just about everything? Do I have to apologize about being down after 2 huge conference losses when said conference was ripe for the picking? I won't. I'm not mad at anybody and won't be hurting anybody. I also won't be nearly as pumped for this game as I thought I'd be. It is what it is.
I'm excited it's a night night. But then I prefer to have all night games.
Our crew will be there. My brothers wife is from Texas. She will be wearing her colors. Reminds me of the color of a babies s—t stained diaper after the first wash. So hope our guys put a little extra effort into this game. Horns down yawl.
