Yea it was a Tyrese & Carr love fest during the first half by the announcers. That was bad enough.
Then what does ESPN do? Run a fanboy piece during halftime on Carr & Hunter that was 5+ minutes long. Plus I was lucky enough to catch the back end of ISU's halftime show that showed what looked like a 60 year old dude in a men's gymnastics outfit balancing on chairs!
Glad I was riveted to my seat!!
wasn't this game basically on the Longhorn network? That would explain the Hunter halftime show.

There's not even a game recap video in the gamecast on ESPN. Just various individual highlight clips. #7 versus #12.
ESPN is straight trash
Since we are on the subject. I set Iowa State Basketball to record early in the season. Now I get All Villanova games and who they play. I can't figure out how to stop that. And, oh, I don't see last night's game in My Stuff. But I do see Villanova and Georgetown...
Hulu DVR is horrible, just about as bad as using GMail for my company email.
If you use the free Varsity Network app on phone or tablet and play the archived game you can forward to all of that which is always on there. I do that often the next day if I can’t keep it on live.
I'm so jealous. Hulu is wonderful, except for whatever reason cannot figure out how to get the recordings to work like any other DVR. Another issue is it recording all shows of a series when I have it set to only record NEW episodes. I really, really hate it.
So are these games just randomly selected at the beginning of the year to be on espn+ because I cannot imagine leaving isu vs ku and texas vs isu off of espn or at least espn2 or espnu? Heck I’ll take espnnews

When I googled the dudes that Rulzzz had listed as the “talent” for the game, I think one was from Council Bluffs, the other Iowa City, what a shock there. I thought they had to have just pulled Longhorn Network guys, but husband says Longhorn Network would have been more fair than that mess.
The search on ESPN+ absolutely sucks. I typically have to scroll down to conferences on the main screen, click on BIG12 and then go to on demand. I just looked and it’s there right now.
Shawn Kenney lives in Perry and is ESPN's lead wrestling voice and does college basketball, football and baseball for them.
Kevin Lehman does live in Iowa City but was head coach at Omaha during their DI transition after being an assistant at UNI for 13 years with Eldon Miller. He's the lead analyst for UNI TV Network, the Missouri Valley TV Network and the Missouri Valley on ESPN. He also does a bunch of other ESPN work as well.
They were absolutely fine and professional the entire time just like any other national crew would've been.

I never search in the ESPN app. I go to schedule, replay, the date and find what I am looking for.
In app or online:

Toggle from Live to Replay
Pick a Date
You can refine even more by sport on said date and there you go.
