Iowa State at Shocker Classic

Also, SO much parity in college volleyball this year, everybody is beating everybody.

UNI beats ISU
ISU beats Creighton
Creighton beats UNI

UNI also has wins over USC & Nebraska, but then loses to KSU today.
KU has had a roller coaster start to the season as well.

What's the chance we could find Sunday's match on-line radio, Face Book or free at the Shockers' home site?

No, I'm talking about road matches as well. Tons of programs have home and away radio play-by-play. It's about time we get with it.
 
Not having Dimke is like the Patrios not having Brady or Packers not having Rogers. That said going in and out of 6-2 at will is a sign the offensive improvement CJL is looking for is weeks away. Avery Rhodes wow. She could be the wildcard that gets us further in the NCAA tourney. She won't be a surprise to any team now but you have to be over the moon with her performance. Consistancy will be her next hurdle. Great Cy weekend so far

Its a shame ISU lost that match. ISU clearly had more weapons and talent, but ISU couldn't put the ball down on them.

I keep waiting for someine to hire Bobby Given what good p5 programs are paying 250k to 500k, iD think her gone, but maybe she'just likes'her alma mater that much.

Honestly, I don't understand why we don't have it, then do the audio stream on cyclones.com for both home and away games.
 
that 2nd set was nuts.

Now I'm curious why Rhodes wasn't swapped for Miranda sooner. Must not have felt she was quite ready yet.

I think that's right and it seems like Genesis is a well liked teammate (even as a 2 year transfer) so might have been cautious with chemistry as well.
 
After the UNI match I never expected this out of the weekend. I was hoping we could find a way to scratch out one of the two to salvage the week.

Solid non-con for CJL and crew! This will definitely help when NCAA look at our strength of schedule. No Purdue type game this year please.

Miranda played all 3 sets today. Bailey and Mauck did not play at all. Rhodes replaced Bailey and Enna got more action as the DS in the 5-1. Will be interesting to see again this season how CJL manages the 5-1 vs 6-2. If Mauck was clearly better than Harris, no brainer to play the 5-1 but that is not the case at this point with Harris being more consistent of the two.

well, Miranda played but it seemed this weekend it's been almost exclusively to serve. She's been totally removed from hitting. Bailey had been doing decently so I hope it's not an injury flaring up. Though she was always subbed in with Mauck so going to 5-1 and moving Alexis around may have altered that.
