Iowa predictions

I've watched Iowa play and lose probably 4 times this season. There are times when they look really, really good but they largely depending on shooting. I hope we don't play that game with them. I want to see us take it down low and use our size. Iowa's biggest post is 6'7". Hamilton, JVB, Dendy, and Brackins should own the paint. Our guards MUST feed the post players and people need to MOVE! And please, please someone rebound.

I'm not confident in this team right now but I will predict a win.

Beginning of the end for GMac.
 
ISU by 15 at half.. up to 25 in second... Iowa goes on a run and ISU stalls for a stretch in the 2nd half.... we win by 10... making FTs to pull away.

Hopefully theres room for all the haters to get back on the bandwagon after the beatdown tonight. Seriously some of you guys flip flop more than politicians. Seriously, we've lost to three top 30 RPI schools.. 81-62 good guys

I don't include myself as a hater but playing devil's advocate: To get an at large bid to the tourney, you need to beat top 30 RPI teams....at least a majority of the time. Right now, we are 0-3.

I'm up and down on this exact thing. We do need to get one of these wins, or even a bunch of them. I'm hoping that these wins happen as the team comes together, but knowing that 2 of them have been in the palm of our hand can be frustrating.

So tonight, let's destroy the Hawks. Then let's get Bradley, and start the march to March!:yes:
 
I think this is a low scoring, ugly game -- which is exactly what Iowa wants.

I thought there was more "Hilton Magic" at the women's game last night than any men's game to date this year. I hope it is loud tonight as well.
