Tough to start as a true FR OT at any level let alone the SEC. He undoubtedly gained a lot of experience and probably a good dose of humility.
Saw an interview with him and he was trying to act like he was gaining too much muscle and had to stop taking supplements. Yeah THATS what it was.
I think this shows Iowa’s collective has a lot of money to spend. Hearing it’s not only Proctor coming in, but a few others too.

Hate to say it, but I think you’re right. You don’t start on the offensive line as a true freshman at a school like Alabama under a coach like Nick Saban unless you’re the real deal.

Funny thing is Iowa will be much better than last year, but will not ben in the Big Ten Title Game most likely.

this is a great start for them and I have to imagine someone is funneling money because for Proctor to come back to Iowa with as bad of offense as they have and without an Off Coordinator is mind boggling. He must be a hawkeye fan deep down.
Something I find interesting is the Iowa football coaching staff has mentioned before that “an offer from Iowa means something,” or something along those lines and that’s why they don’t offer many guys in football like ISU does/did more so early on in Campbell’s tenure.

This is the one thing that has to be initially addressed. In all of this to start there has to be a way for someone, IDC if its the NCAA but you should not be able to do this. Probably not going to see anything happen but at least at the minimum it should start here.
