Everybody knows that if there is ever a kid from the state of Iowa that is worth a **** in basketball he is going to end up with that used car salesman Roy Williams. He has been stealing all of the talent from this state forever.

Collison - Kansas - NBA
Hinrich - Kansas - NBA
Barnes - UNC - NBA
Paige - UNC - ???

I agree, however ISU made it easy in most of their decisions. LaFrentz made his decision when Orr was retiring and the coaching was unknown and unstable. Collison and Hinrich made their decisions between the Floyd and Eustachy years. Barnes made his decision at the end of McDermott's run. While I don't know how highly ISU was in each case vs KU or UNC, when there is a questionmark for the coach, I don't blame them choosing the storied/stable program. Hopefully there will be stability with Hoiberg to not have this issue in the future.

You can bet your bottom dollar on gameday I want Iowa to win, and win big. After the game win or lose I support Iowa State. It's good for the state when both programs have success. Not to mention important things like RPI and strength of schedule.

There can be a rivalry without fans literally disliking each other. This isn't the South.:smile:

I have relatives and family that are Iowa fans. I grew up watching the Hawkeyes. Don't have time to watch them anymore.

Somehow my hawkeye friend got all expenses paid trip to Dayton to watch the cyclones play tonight and Sunday if they win.

Courtside tickets too. I told him he damn well better cheer for Isu opposed to against them like he always does.
