Iowa Depth Chart

It's not a coicedence you all of a sudden talk up their ability as soon as they are no longer on the team. It is apparent you have no familiarity with Ferentz's track record of favoring the more experienced player. Which I can't say I'm surprised you don't know what you're talking about. Aaron White says hi from the 1st Team All Big 10 (which you claimed he'd never get selected for btw).

I've seen a lot of "In Kirk We Trust" shirts over the years. I find it hard to believe fans would wear those shirts if their HC would rather plays seniors instead of winning

Tired and worn out argument-lets get back on track with your seemingly out of control rogue football program. Has So Proud lost control of the football team?? Beginning to wonder..

Keep making predictions please. I enjoy it when you're wrong.

Clearly the ISU game has had no merit on his job status so far.

Fans supported him two years ago when he beat ISU. He lost to ISU this year and now fans want him fired. Some are so upset about it they think he plays the worse players and leaves the good players on the bench just to lose that game and others during the season

You need to pay more attention to Iowa football if you want to make claims like this and follow up those claims with insults. Ferentz has played incumbents and seniors over more talented players throughout his career at Iowa. There are myriad examples of this. Some of the most egregious were McCann over Banks, Christensen over Stanzi, and O'Meara over Hampton and Coker.
Or maybe, just maybe (and try to stay with me here), those guys were only ready when he played them and were not ready before then. Every time a team does not meet expectations, fans look to the bench. Of course, when the team does great, even Joe Montana on the bench will not get the time of day from fans.

Fan support has been dwindling for awhile, ISU has no more to do with it than losing to any other bad team that you shouldn't lose to.

Ferentz could go 1-11 this year and most fans would be happy as long as the one win was against ISU. With Rudock gone I wouldn't be surprised if ISU wins that game though.

Practice for our DBs and Safeties for that game should be catching passes. Beathard will be throwing to them a lot.

You're usually better than this. Disappointing.

Seriously there was so much hype going into last season, Miller saying they'd go 10-2 with ISU's schedule because they beat ISU the previous year. Everyone is happy and that's coming off getting ran all over in a bowl game. Lose to ISU last year and now fans want KF gone and are even going as far as saying he's purposely losing by leaving these stud players on the bench.

I don't think I need to tell you how ridiculous you sound. Don't confuse the expectations of your fanbase for ours.

Our expectations? I want to get rid of the game to be completely honest with you. Lose/lose situation for us. If we win ya it was expected we beat KF but if we lose it looks horrible that we lost to a team that keeps all their real talent on the bench

I actually want to keep the game. It is almost a guaranteed sellout against a not-so-good team that is in a Power 5 Conference. Plus there is nothing better than beating the Squawkeyes and listen to their excuses for losing.

Just curious as to who the stud running back should have been playing instead of Weisman? Based on the stats it looks like maybe Wadley may be the guy, but with only 33 carries it is hard to say that is a good sample. Weisman's average was not great, but he also got 16 TDs, which means he was running into a stacked defense, and also many of those runs were probably from 4 or less yards out.

Honestly, a guy like Weisman may have won 2-3 games for ISU last year, when they could manage to pick up less than a yard on critical downs.

Weisman was probably the 4th best RB on the team. He didn't give them the best chance to win but he was a senior and that's why he played. Wadley probably would have started at most P5 schools

So the 3rd leading rusher in his Hawkeye career was the 4th best RB on the Hawkeyes??

I don't buy that.
