Iowa -7 vs ISU

“Bottom line it’s not acceptable behavior for anyone, especially anyone on our team or a team leader,” Ferentz said.

“We are aware of the incident involving Brandon. While we are currently gathering additional facts, we are very disappointed to learn of Brandon’s involvement,” Ferentz said at the time. “Brandon is subject to the rules and regulations of the UI Student-Athlete Code of Conduct, and the rules and regulations of our football program."

That doesn't sound "OK" to me. The guy was injured and didn't get to go on the bowl trip with the rest of the team. What more could Ferentz do?

ISu fans refuse this and are claiming it is due to race he wasn’t suspend for more. Special level of delusion here.

So clone fans are ok with iSu suspending players for some arrests but not others and that isn’t a moral equivalency argument?

YES! Most definitely YES!

Are you saying Iowa fans, including yourself, are not ok with suspending players for some arrests but not others?

Would you suspend Wirfs for a game if he was jaywalking? And if so, then how many games should he get if he's drunk driving?

So iSu’s policy is to suspend a player from games for certain arrests but not others.

Got it.

Yes. That is why most here felt that the Reiff suspension was unwarranted. A PI arrest while trying to get a ride home is not the same as driving yourself and endangering others. But, once Kirk handed down that suspension, he really painted himself into a corner where now a 1 game suspension appears to say that he feels a PI arrest is on par with an OWI.

So much for iSu taking some kind of moral high ground.

You'll forgive me if I don't look to DerpSh_tCy to determine whether or not ISU Football is on the moral high ground.

Does ISU do things differently than ToE, probably and hopefully. Do we care what you think about that?

Ummm, no.

Now if you want to post a link (actually, that will be your new name - DerpPostALink) that show's ToE has received higher Moral Ground rating than ISU, we might have a talking point.

Until then, shove your moral superiority up your DerpA_s.

So know only your definition of suspension counts.

I think it's ridiculous Snyder won't have to miss a game he could actually play in. That would never happen at a quality institution like Iowa State under CMC. I don't care what you think so we don't need to go round and round on the subject

Is anyone arrested for jaywalking? The bottom line is that iSu fans are throwing rocks at Iowa while iSu has anything but a high moral leg to stand on.

I think it is ridiculous that an iSu player was arrested on a Thursday, played on the following Saturday and now iSu fans want to throw rocks at Iowa.
