Iowa -7 vs ISU

I guess Iowa could take the iSu route and discount tickets just to have sellouts but why?

It seems weird that you'd rather make no money at all and leave the seats empty than have people come to the game and spend money.

I think it's more weird he thinks Northern Illinois is one of Iowa's 3 most important games next year and is OK with that

Little Brother,

This thread has clearly shown that you are triggered for some reason. The best course of action for you would be to sit down and eat some cake and ice cream, then come back and try to act like a reasonable hok troll.

Sincerely,
Big Brother (DerpyHerky)

First game of the year is always a big game, especially with FryFest going on and all the former coaches coming back. Its not a bigger game than a conference game but its our toughest non con game and there is a lot going on that weekend so it makes sense.

Why are you wasting your time trolling here then? better get over to NIU's fan board post haste!

You have to laugh when Haughtlin falls while approaching a kickoff and Iowa ends up with an inadvertent on-side kick.

ISU fans would get mad cause they thought Hayden was running up the score, but he didn't. The score was 57-0 with five minutes left in the third quarter. He could have scored 80 points this game if he wanted to.

Do you understand what revenue is? Here is a hint it isn’t just tickets. Iowa has $24m in revenue while iSu has $9m. The gap is $13m not including premium seating and foundation contributions. If you add that in the gap widens.

Anyway you slice it the iSu pie is smaller regardless of what you think iSu makes in concessions.

Glory days

Some good times for sure. Will never forget where I was at when Houghtlin kicked the game winning FG to beat #2 Michigan.

Looking back, I feel Iowa has been able to maintain the same amount of success over the years with mostly good years, with some great and bad years mixed in.

Well you guys can enjoy the 80’s/90’s and we will enjoy the 70’s/2000’s and then when we get back to reality and discover it is 2018 we can discuss the current state of the programs. I personally think it is an exciting time to be a college football fan in the State of Iowa because there is little chance of a boring game between the two.

What a steaming hot take.
