It is beyond insecurity with these idiots, it has progressed to fear. And not just with the moron hok posters on here, the ones that annoy me in real life are fearful as well. They know CMC is the real deal, figured he would bolt after last year and now realize he is here for a while. And at least as long as he is here, much more attention will be on the program in Ames than the sideshow in Iowa City.

I think Cloner fans are just excited about the trajectory of the program. Get a bowl every year and have occasional years when things fall right and they get 9-10 wins. Whether that's officially top ten depends on the year and schedule, etc.
Like the year Hokdom thought undefeated regular season = good until about 10 game minutes into the Rose Bowl.

Twins said only one top ten by that single measure of Massey. Top tens are difficult for a program to get. You act like it is a stain on Ferentz that he’s only had one, by that particular measure.

Can’t sniff top ten. Campbell may be at ISU for ten years and not get there. Did I say Hokdom wasn't ecstatic with that season? Ecstatic is fine. Making excuses like bad shoes, Stanford band, etc. to cover up that Stanfod basically just had to practice for a half is when it got just plain funny.

That season was awesome. It was incredible. I sat in kinnick every home game and knew that they were playing games that had meaning. You guys have none of that. You have no idea what it means to play a game in November that is for a division title. I guess you had a game at Nebraska a couple of decades ago and you pissed it away, there is that I suppose. Ancient history.
