Iowa -7 vs ISU

Seems like they feel those are the other three games they can get people to the game. Iowa State and UNI will sell out. Nobody is going to the Maryland game and with Frost Nebraska will be well attended.

Maybe you can help me with something. If iSu does so much better than Iowa at selling tickets for football why does Iowa bring in $24m for football while iSu brings in $9m?

Because Iowa fans are getting ripped off.

I am sure iSu’s $9m will impress decision makers in the next round of conference re-alignmemt. Right up there with iSu’s TV ratings.

I'm sorry there is no cure for stupid. I wish I could help you.

Let me know if you want to actually discuss what I said rather than make this an Iowa State vs Iowa thing.

You hawk fans do understand that some teams lump the extra money for things like suites or premium seats into things like donations and some put it into the ticket sales? ISU only lists the direct cost of the tickets in ticket sales. So if the suite costs 50k and you get 12 tickets in it. they take the 12 tickets times the normal ticket price, not 50k for the 12 tickets.

Sure Iowa Football attendance equates to $24m in revenues and iSu’s equates to $9m.

Iowa generates money. There's no denial from me. These promotions are trying to get butts in the seats. Iowa State and UNI won't be an issue. I get why you don't want to talk about it though.

Link to Iowa State only including the direct cost of the ticket in ticket sales, and Iowa counting its seat donations towards ticket sales?
