Iowa -7 vs ISU

Now there is a thread on the pay board. A couple of guys in there, not really known for having inside info, are speculating that Snyder is hanging it up.

Also, the WR's had a get together over the weekend at the WR coach's house and Brandon Smith and Tyrone Tracy werent in the photo. It sounds like some guys may have went home as the squad got a few days off from workouts and thats where they were at.

Are either of these guys supposed to be good? IIRC Smith was from SEC country and nobody wanted him

I honestly do not post over there

I'm confused how he would be your second best WR behind Easley. When nobody wants you out of high school and you don't produce on the field that's usually not a great combo

Nobody wanted him? He had an SEC offer.

His Vandy offer wasn't committable. If you're a 6'3 WR from Mississippi and Vandy is the only SEC school that shows interest in you that's not a great sign. I figured that kid that caught two TD's against us would be a starter

Sounds like its a disciplinary situation with Snyder.

Release should come out today regarding the punishment. Hopefully they just do one release for Snyder and Wirfs and get it over with.

Now they're going to go back and actually make him miss a game? What a weird deal

How would you know his Vandy offer wasnt committable?

Good God, you are obsessed with Iowa to follow the recruiting of a kid ranked in the 800's that didnt even have an offer from ISU or any other Big 12 school.

They are kicking him off the team now, woah, Wirfs must be filling his pants.
