I hate to admit this but I really like the new NU tunnel walk song. Out of everything I have heard being discussed for tunnel walks this one is the best. I may get my card revoked for this but it beats the other songs by a mile, for any school. Maybe it is just because it is new.
Ahem...it's called "Cycloning"...and it is super fun to do in those light, breathable uniforms. :wink:
I hope its something from Justin Timberlake so I can bust a move in Section 20.
really, I don't see why thunderstruck isn't played. They have used it in the past for certain things and "cyclones" are storms by the way....Seems to be something everyone agrees on.

what makes the nebraska intro cool is the video they sinc with the music. im will admit that it does get the crowd pumped...sirius that is. you have to play it loud, hopefully the AD knows that. it could be great or horrible all simply on how loud the volume is turned up. they have to play it loud.
I've always thought Diesel Power by Prodigy (music only) would be a sweet, pump you up song to come into. Heres a great youtube video to it click

Wow, I hope that whoever puts the Jock Jams CD into the player doesn't get confused and play last year's song instead of this year's... :rolleyes5cz:

If you're going to copy some other university, you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT:
(1) Copy someone in your conference
(2) Copy someone you face a lot
(3) Copy a widely-known entrance
I have 20 songs right now, in my iTunes, that could work better than this recycled junk. And if I had access to the AD's video library, I could have a kick-arse entrance video done in 2 days, tops.
This is yet another black mark on the head of marketing. And I use "head" loosely.

I guess Iowa State University, the marketing staff, and Jamie Pollard owe you a sincere apology for not calling and offering you the job for making up the entrance song and video.
Our marketing department is terrible. I mean we only sold 36,000 season tickets. Have merchandise being sold in record numbers (no proof, just going off all the people I see with ISU stuff). We came off a losing season and we are still doing this stuff. All in all I guess maybe marketing isn't that bad... What was I thinking..
We can't control the new song and video. We can't control the colors of our new jerseys next years. But dammit, I am still going out there tomorrow screaming my head off and being rowdy because I love this college...
