Interior painting cost

Bump for fresh advice. Did anybody use any suggestions from the PMs? Anybody have any other endorsements for interior painting? Have a rather big job in our house.

Trudat...I heard the Navy tried this strategy during WWI:

Anybody have some interior painting done lately? I suck at it and looking to hire it done. Saw some online price per sq ft but was all over the place. I don't like to just get estimates from companies unless I'm sure I can afford it.

If you're getting an estimate, I don't think any company is expecting you to only get one estimate, so I wouldn't feel bad about getting the estimates.

$125 for a 14 x 14 room (plus supplies) is a good deal. If the quality is good, I would jump on that.

I typically budget $250 per room for a house (interior). That's an all-in cost. While some rooms will cost more, some will be less and that's usually a safe, but relatively close estimate overall.

Good luck!

$125 is a good number for a standard bedroom...bigger bedrooms such as master's bedrooms could be $150-$175 per room depending on amount of cutting required. Small bathrooms $75-$100 because a lot of cutting around toilets...master bedrooms obviously would be more because added space and cutting but pretty standard.
