Insurance Refunds?

I have Nationwide. Premiums are about $120/month for full coverage on 2 sedans. They returned $50 at the end of April. Not sure if it was a 1-time thing or not.

My wife's car has 120 miles on it since she came home from work 8 weeks ago. It'd have less if we weren't going to doctor's appointments since she is pregnant.

Same here. I have American Family and they returned $50. Not great, but I'll take it.

Nada, they did raise the price though.... So that's kinda the same. It's time for me to shop around.

State Farm

For State Farm policy holders, here is part of a "story" on their website:

Customers do not need to take any action to receive this dividend, which will appear as a credit on their auto policy.

I pay semi-annually and need to wait to July-August.

My car ins is outrageous in LA. I called and had most coverage dropped over a month ago. No way I'm paying $700 for my cars to sit in place for 60 days (believe me, that is after shopping around). I don't even have to drive to grocery stores. Possibly moving next month and a 4 mile move is going to drop my premium almost 40% with no other changes.

We got $60 back in April. Our son got his school permit over spring break which increased premiums but were able to get that adjusted back down.

Supposed to get a 20% premium refund but am yet to see it. (AAA)
I looked it up the other day and finally found on the website that it says they should go out by the end of May. Agent said they are still determining if it will be account credit or check and will probably vary based on things like paying monthly vs in-full.

Thank you!

I have state farm and my semi-annual runs dec-june. I just got the latest and it went up so called agent and was told that due to my dates it would show up on my next bill and should be about 22.5% reduction.

I would LOVE to get fifty a vehicle back. With the stinking fleet that I've been running it would be some change. Just sold mom's car so I'm guessing Farm Bureau isn't giving her estate a kickback.

We got a 20% credit on this months and will get one next month too (USAA).

I got a refund from Allstate like 3 weeks ago, wasn’t huge but it’s something I guess. Like 15 dollars.
same here. what I find funny is they will give me this but when I went from driving my personal vehicle 18k mi a year to driving it less then 8k total a year they said there was nothing they could do about dropping rates for me.

Got 50 bucks deposited by Nationwide a week or two ago. It’s something I guess.

Nationwide giving $50 per auto policy. I got $50 and each of my kids, who I make pay for their own policies got $50.

Yeah, Nationwide must give just $50 per policyholder. I spend $5,000 a year with them and they gave back $50. Whew! Financial crisis averted!
