just got the email and it looks like students are going to get the tickets for $25 in the lower bowl by the marching band

Funny how the students tickets are only $25 and the regular tickets are $55. Not much difference in price

Student Tickets for the Insight Bowl Game
The Cyclone football team has been selected to play in the Insight Bowl against a Big Ten opponent on December 31st at 5 p.m. (C.S.T) in Tempe, Arizona.

The athletics department would like to have as many Iowa State students travel to Arizona to enjoy the festivities and game. Tickets for the game are $55. However, in order to make it easier for students to attend the game, the Athletics Department has decided to subsidize the cost of student tickets. Tickets for current Iowa State students will be $25 (a savings of $30) and will be located in the lower bowl near the marching band.

In order to take advantage of this great offer, please note the following:

• Students are limited to two (2) tickets.
• Orders are online only (login to your student account at cyclones.com and
enter your ISU Student ID number for both the account ID and password).
• Tickets will only be available for pick up at the bowl site and the student
ordering the tickets must pick up their tickets in person with their Iowa State
Student ID.
• Students wanting to sit together must pick up their tickets together at the same
time at the pick up location at the Bowl.
• Will Call pick up locations and times at the Bowl game will be sent at a later
time.

We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity to cheer on the Cyclones in Tempe, Arizona on New Year’s Eve. Go Cyclones!

I'd assume then you don't have to have another student with you since only the person who ordered needs their ID...

Can they do this for plane tickets as well? Please? /sarcasm, but seriously

There's a lot of talk on the boards about students driving, too. If you get four people in a car and rotate driving, you can get gas way down. I drove to Vegas a couple years ago with three and it cost us around $160 each.

I used 3,184 round trip at 24 MPG and gas at $3.50 on average to come up with 116.08 per person in my little bowl budgeting file.

No way in HELL A-town gets 24 with his wheels.

Dang, when we went to the Insight bowl last time we had to sit outside in the cold the night before the student tickets went on sale! Now you can just order them online, takes all the fun out of it...

Anyone else having trouble getting ordering the student tickets??

I follow all the steps, log in with my student ID number, but the only option for tickets I see is the $55 assigned seat ones.

Any tips?

How do you log in? I used my ID # but my password is not working. Anybody know what password you use?

It was the same way with the Houston Bowl in '05.
