Insert next "Mac good for X job here"

LETS STOP THESE POSTS ON WHERE MAC IS HEADING? Every day I come on here and see one!! Anyone else say enough is enough?

I'm pretty sure I can sense the sarcasm in the original post and I can appreciate the humor.

It is quite interesting on how it is becoming obvious Mac wasn't as respected for his coaching prowess by his peers as most would lead us to believe.

At this point I have to believe what ColoradoClone mentioned above. Some sort of athletic administration is definitely the best fit. I just don't see Mac landing anywhere in a coaching capacity at this point.

The Dallas Cowboys have a job opening right now, and I've hear the Minnesota Timberwolves might be looking. (whoops, wrong sport, but that doesn't matter)

Judging by the original posters's previous posts, I'm pretty sure this isn't a joke.

McCarney needs his own website where these people can spend their days speculating what Dan had for breakfast.

+ rep for you cuz I know the negs are about to come from the folks that want to keep running Mac through the mud.

I said basically the same the other day and still am catching crap for it for some reason. I'd be happy if the DMac talk good or bad would go into the woodwork until he actually takes a new job or it's reported from a reliable source that he is in the running for a job.

I have a vision: Let's make a bunch of threads to talk about threads we don't like.

McCarney named new Ronald McDonald, he will be going around the country promoting McDonalds, the speculation over, this is what is happening, shut up! He already has years of experience with the color scheme, his players wore McDonalds uniforms for the last 4 years, so he is ready, wish him luck!

Speacial assistant to Geoffory as VP of fund raising for ISU. Make it for acedemics as well as athletics and turn him loose. Rather than bash him, can't we find a job where he could still really help ISU?

Mac is not going to take another job with ISU, you can count on that. Would you want to take a lesser job with an employer that basically fired you?

I like to follow things with Iowa State ties. Similar to asking what Fizer is up to, how Larry's basketball team is doing, or watching Tim Floyd at USC.

For those that don't care about that though, doesn't ISU benefit from those coaches letting go finding jobs elsewhere, or do we have to continue to pay them? I thought if Mac or Barney found a job making X dollars, we would only owe him the difference between the buyout and what he's currently making. Am I wrong here? If I am, then I appologize, but if not, then there is an ISU interest in where these people go, even if they aren't the coaches anymore.

Hiring Mac for a position at ISU would be like moving my EX Wife in with my current wife..............isn't going to happen.

Assistant to the Travelling Secretary of the New York Yankees. God knows they need an individual of Dan's ability to fill the shoes once held by George Costanza. Dan has alot in common with Mr. Costanza. They both have an impeccable ability to blow the most idiot proof scenarios. In fact, I think Dan might be better. Think of all the times George blew it with girls, job oppurtunities, etc. He's never managed to **** away the Big 12 North title, not once, but twice, against lesser teams who had less incentive to win, while holding double digit leads in said games. Dan did though. "Dan McCarney: making the unthinkable possible." It could be a great sales pitch to Yankee fans. Yeah, Dan McCarney would make one hell of an Assistant to the Travelling Secretary of the New York Yankees.

Actually, it was what Mac lead us to believe.
