Why would ESPN want to do that? Now they can't market a top 25 matchup.

I really don't care if we're ranked or not. GameDay is already coming, and in the eyes of most, we'll be a big underdog, especially if we're not ranked, so that's all good in my book.

I can all but guarantee that Corso will be picking the Hawks.

If he understands, and is willing to admit it, that our OL is still a big weakness and devises a quick passing game with screens, quick slants, and quick outs to the flats and forces Iowa to cover sideline to sideline.... and allows Purdy to scramble and be himself.... and then occasionally throws over the top.... then ISU has a chance.

Underdog? ISU will likely be slightly favored.
 
I expect a high scoring game.
isu wins this 34-24. Iowa has serious weakness in both lb and secondary levels and their QB is still the same inaccurate (unless it's against a patsy) thrower he's been for three years.

Without looking it up, where was game day week two last year? The year before? Or before that? Exactly. I remember game day was in IC for the Ohio State game one year, but no idea what year.

We will see what this does to the ISU team. I think it will focus the Iowa players, as they can play the big game for ISU angle to the hilt.

I suppose if/when ISU gets to a January Bowl Game it won't mean anything either.
