Norvel Pelle is NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN. I wouldnt want him on the team anyways. A kid who is THAT good but doesn't care enough to get himself qualified academically is not someone I'd like to see wearing cardinal and gold.

You are all entitled to your opinion, as crazy as it may be. I love how everyone makes judgements based off rumors. The kid is from Compton California, grow up there and see how much studies played a role in your life. If he make's it to campus, there can only be upside. Worst case scenerio, he can't play on a scholarship that wasn't going to be used anyway.
Pelle has been enrolled in online classes for some time now so him not being in high school is no big news. There's still a chance and while it's small it's also better than it was at the beginning of the year.
Just curious how you would know what "Compton" life is like. Maybe its similar to Detroit, which I'm assuming youve lived there (can't imagine any other reason to like the pistons and lions). If its so terrible you would think a competent kid with a way out would be able to concentrate on his "studies" enough to give himself a chance. There's no doubt he can play, but his decision making and work ethic it very questionable.
I made a correlation between his comments and his favorite teams. You clearly just hate the Yankees. If you're implying that there is no reason for a person to like the Yankees, I would argue that there are in fact 27 reasons to be a Yankees fan.
