Then this is one of the biggest wastes of money in the history of Iowa State University because the feedback thus far is not a tweak of configurations to fix things...its the entire system is overloaded and unable to do its job. This is a failure of unbelievable proportions not seen since Greg McDermott was on the sidelines in Hilton Coliseum. SMS takes a split second connection to send a message and if people can't do that the system isn't even operating at the lowest possible level.Well - ISU Athletic Dept and University have spent a lot of money on building a permanent NEW network on campus as well as around and inside Jack Trice... and the cell carriers are involved in all of that... so while your comments reflect the situation in the past - it is a completely different, designated infrastructure today.
The ISU campus and facilities Cellular Network has been built in the last two years.
Now it is a matter of tweaking the configurations... as has been confirmed by the staff and AD Pollard.
thus... by knowing about the nuances of issues - ie- two people next to each other with vastly different service levels, etc... gives the techs info to fix the issue.
