Improved cell coverage?

US Cellular here. It was night and day better for me this year. No issues and I was even able to stream games during breaks.
Beginning of the game my US Cellular service was horrible. Somewhere in late 1st half it improved and after that it was the best I can ever remember. Never tried streaming but twitter worked normal and I could easily look up game scores.

US Cell here. Really struggled to look up scores on ESPN app. I should have tried Twitter .

Verizon data was non-existent after 11, but texting without images worked fine for me talking to my son in the student section I'm a business customer though so they supposedly prioritize my line.

Yep, another vote for improved cell coverage meaning absolute jack sh*t. I was able to stream music and video in the lots until about 11am, but couldn’t check a score or even get a single text message in or out until leaving the stadium after the game.

The tweet your seat promotions on the video boards in the second half were just trolling us at that point.

Verizon was the worst I've ever experienced it. Usually I could at least text and occasionally get Twitter to load but I couldn't even get a text to go through in the stadium.

T-Mobile here, and like all the other T-Mobile users it was way better for me. My friend pointed out that it looked like all the flag polls in the stadium had cell antennas or boosters or whatever on them.

I’m a business customer and my texts took about 4-5 minutes to go through. I text my kid next to me to check and that is how long it took him to get it. He’s on my business plan. Others were delayed because NW texted me that we lost our shutout, I got it after the field goal. Had to smart remark back to him anyhow. Which he probably got sometime during halftime.

No data at all though. Son is 5G and he lost everything midway through the 1st with data.

We are Verizon. I didn’t attempt anything but husband spent entire game looking at other scores and reading me stats from the freaking Hawk game, like game has 21 punts and 16 first downs. Put down the phone and watch game you are at. I found it annoying so talked about game with the 11 year old who sits by us.

Edit: I did receive and send one text with ease. One son wanted my Mac n Cheese recipe for a work potluck. At least he had the sense to ask 20 minutes before kickoff.

Also wonder if husband was enabled by fact we sit top row of stadium.

My service with Verizon was noticeably better outside the stadium. Inside it was pretty much the same as always.

I noticed there are a lot of new towers throughout the tailgate lots, so I'm assuming this was targeting usage outside of the stadium. If that's the case I would say it was moderately effective.
I couldn’t get any service in the grass lots…
