Minus ISU the Big 12 north is a lot better than in previous years.

Kansas is very new but solid.
KSU is tough and another solid team.
Nebby is not a world beater, but much improved.
Mizzou is now ranked #10 and is 22-4

ISU and CU still suck.

Im not liking the trend of KSU AND Mizzou being good along with KU. I miss when Nebraska was an automatic win. :)

Nebraska is really surprising to me. They really aren't that talented, yet Sadler has them playing well and extremely tough in Lincoln.

They have some solid guards.

Verlander (sp) can really shoot the ball.

Cookie is really a pretty solid PG that can penetrate and dish.

Harley is the play making slasher type that we have lacked for years.

I find it disturbing that Nebraska has pieces that we are still missing.

Nebraska is a good team, but they are missing a solid big. We are missing a solid guard, and Nebraska starts about 4 of them...

????????
YES - KU should be solid again, Reesing and Meir are good Ball players.

KSU is tough - what ?????,

NU - much improved???? On Defense, but they will have alot of new players on Offense. They will be tough, but not much improved.

Mizzou - He lost alot of players and some coaches. They still should be good, but not as good as the last couple of years.

CU - I think they will be a lot better.

ISU - Not sure what to expect. I hope we are better, but not expecting it.

All that and you didn't mention their best player. Doganduro is far better than anyone else on their team.

I was just going to point out the same thing in addition to him leading the team in toughness. He is the leader and heart of the team.

Don't forget, Nebraska also has that big center eligible for next year. Last I heard he has put on nearly 40 pounds and Sadler expects him to be better and more versatile than Maric.

Yes Sadler was a steal. It's going to be harder and harder to come out of Lincoln with a win.

Yeah, I get that. Maybe what is frustrating is that its not like these guards that Nebraska has brought in are world-beaters...they definitely were not highly recruited. But they seem to be somewhat athletic, and they can handle the ball and make plays.

Seems like we have only had one guard over the last three years that has been able to do things like that consistantly...Taylor, and the rest have been guys that basically just catch and shoot the ball.

Nebraska is still Nebraska.

Iowa State should sweep NU every year in MBB. There is no excuse for losing to Nebraska in Ames or Lincoln.

Unless Melvin thinks that Mizzou scheduled a brutal schedule of 26 games, no off weeks and a mid week game too! Wow

All this talk of the hiring Football coaches has me thinking Football. Yes the Big 12 is better in MBB. WHOPPIE Crap, there is no way ISU should be in Bad.

I was concerned about the state of the Football Program after last year. I'm concerned about the state of the Basketball Program.
