***Important Info Regarding Today's Game/Clone Zone***

If you're planning on watching today's game on Clone Zone, I highly suggest reading this informational piece that is up right now at Cyclones.com.

Important Information for Saturday's Football Webcast - Iowa State University Athletics Official Web Site - www.CYCLONES.com - The home of Iowa State Cyclone Sports

Most important points to consider are...

- If you're having trouble, do not call or email Iowa State. Iowa State's staff associated with the stream is in Columbia and will not be there to answer the phone. You will need to contact NeuLion with all support questions.

- Treat Clone Zone like a magazine subscription. If you do not cancel after today's game, you'll be charged another $8.95 in November.

Also, are any of the basketball games on CloneZone? It'd be nice for us out of staters to be able to watch them, at least some of the non-conference games that are only on mediacom.

I am also out of state and I have clonezone. You can get many volleyball, WBB non-conference MBB, and a few football games.

Well worth the yearly charge. You also get some premium media days etc.
 
They didn't cover the important issue at hand...is it going to work this time!?

I'm going to log on at 1pm (EST) right when it opens up...I definitely don't want to get stuck with that non-HD stream from Mizzou with Mizzou announcers...YIKES!

Why would you get stuck with the Mizzou stream? If you order Clone Zone you are going to get the HD one.

As long as NeuLion doesn't suffer a 1 in a million type crash like it did for the UNI game that affected a majority of schools across the nation.

Per the website:
We are running two streams for this game. The first is a one-camera HD "adaptive stream" with Cyclone Radio Network commentary. The better your internet connection is, the better quality video you will receive. The second option comes courtesy of the University of Missouri and its a multiple camera setup from the Faurot Field videoboard and the Missouri radio network. It is a 600kbps stream, meaning you'll need to be able to download at a rate faster than 600kbps for it to effectively stream.

No Cyclone fan is going to be on that stream if they don't have to. Combine that with the fact that I don't trust NeuLion any further than I can throw them.
 
With what I've seen.. or rather have NOT seen... live events don't work very well on CloneZone, but hopefully today is an exception.

I'd like to know this as well. Does anyone know if the exhibition game will be on CloneZone? I know every other game except the Providence game will be on the college basketball package.
