Impending doom....

Very comparable to Cycofan1, also, but at least 78 never made an epic farewell post.

Nah... I just dropped out of HUCAC is all. I didn't like everyone ganging up on one person is all. Not my style to be a part of that. Back to Cycofan1.... he isn't on CF anymore? I never noticed he was gone. Did it have something to do with the CF softball game he wanted to ride his bike to? :jimlad:

Tell her you were living the life of a lie and that after you strip away the denial and the rationalization you come to the truth and the truth is very painful at times and to stare at yourself and look at the person you’ve become you become disgusted. Also, tell her that you got away from your Buddhism.

I don't think this thread is about that anymore...

I'm going with the over. CyCrazy can't post pictures of himself with the midget, dongkey*, a bottle of Cuervo, and wearing a Lucha Libre mask last night until May or June.

Last time I checked, that was how gangbangs worked.

I'm not married, but there isn't much difference. Every time we move, my girlfriend's parents bring down their trailer and help us. It's always 2 full days of them telling us what to do with our things, how much they don't like the new place and what a cheap *** I am because I'm not springing for the more expensive toilet paper. We always move at the end of November, and they always drag their feet the day after we move and hold off another night because of possible snow.

This means that when I'm at the point where I really need a god damned beer, my girlfriend won't go out because her folks are here, and gives me the stink eye when I head to the bar. Stink eye be damned, several days of having my every move criticized by an overweight, aging and menopausal version of my girlfriend drives me straight to the bottle.

I've had a similar, albeit less contentious, situation occur with my in laws helping us move. When we first made our move from Iowa to Illinois they helped us, and I was grateful for it. But when it comes time to decide where stuff goes and the mother in law tries to tell us how to decorate, that's when I get a little annoyed. At one point she tried to tell us where the tv should go, and I calmly say "You won't have to deal with the glare from the window, I will." I figure it's a clear enough signal, but I said it kind of jokingly. Next she's trying to tell me where to hang pictures and stuff on the walls and I about lose it. Just before I start saying something about how "this is my apartment and I'll decorate it however I ******* please" the father in law steps in and says "leave the kids alone, this isn't your apartment." I don't think I've ever been more grateful in my life. I think he read my face and saw that I was about to blow up and stepped in and took care of it. I owed him a beer for that at least that night.

This is pretty much my exact situation, with the addition of them staying a day longer than they had originally said because they didn't want to drive at night. The thing is, we can move everything in a day, and be pretty well situated. The next day they stick around all day, going shopping and fussing about how things are getting arranged. It gets to be about 4 in the afternoon and they're all "well... I don't know if we should drive at night...". I honestly do appreciate their help (we pay 'em for gas) but when they start micro-managing our life, it gets on my nerve. Thankfully, my parents don't do that.

I think the best way to go about that is to move everything in the house, sit down, let her arrange it how she wants, and then as soon as she proclaims she's done, stand up, don't say a word, and then move everything around to a different spot.

And then put it where you ACTUALLY want it after she leaves, assuming you hadn't been planning that out while she did her thing. Though it'd be funnier to move it just for the sake of moving it
