You'd be surprised how hard the blue-blood coaches work at recruiting. Their fanbase has higher expectations which doesn't reduce the workload and stress. They are competing with other blue-bloods for top 10-15 talent.

It's extremely naive to think recruiting isn't still a chore for those coaches.
 
If Fred wanted to come to CF as the Village Idiot how many posters on here would give up their spot for him?
 
I'm not sure if its more sad that the thread was even started or that it has gone 14 pages? People just love to **** and moan I guess.

Now I am wondering what Fred Fred would recommend as a wine pairing with Soylent Green. A white wine with the green but a red with Soylent Yellow and Soylent Red?

If it's Fred's dream to come back if he fails with the Bulls, then I'm OK with it. We are into dreams in Ames.
 
Can someone explain where this question even came from? Did I miss something this week or is this just an out-of-the-blue question or is Fred in trouble in Chicago? I mean I know there not happy with the past year's result.....

Can someone explain where this guys question came from? Did he really not understand the OP or is he just stupid?
 
Apparently my lack of understanding if this was just a question out of nowhere or if something had happened in the last week that didn't make national news makes me stupid so just go with that, nevermind that rumors etc swirl around Ames but when you're 1200 miles from there you aren't privy to all of that.

Has anyone played the "you know recruits/coaches read CF, and posting this stuff is going to make them think twice about coming to ISU" card yet? I really do hope that Prohm hasn't read this thread yet. No need for him to be looking over his shoulder all the time. here's the old hidden jimlad btw
