I know we have to learn how to step on necks when we are up big but without Lipsey I gave us a 10% chance today. And we still won. It’s a huge ******* win.

Good teams make runs at home, almost universally.
Not hating. But in the league against anyone on the road without starting PG and best player I’d say our chances of winning are slim. But we got it done!

You could tell that TCU really picked up the effort late. While you shouldn't be blowing that kind of lead no matter what, it had as much to do with them as it did with us.

Figure of speech, but I assume TJ would agree that it would have been REAL bad to blow that lead. That doesn't change the fact that it is the biggest win of the season and we played some of our best basketball of the season. My point was more that TCU had a lot to do with the blown lead and it wasn't really as much about us (the only real bad move---which didn't especially hurt us---was Gilbert taking an off balance 3 with a ton of shot clock left).

Right back on track after BYU beatdown. I'm completely happy with 3-2 from our first five, and hope to see 5-2 after next week.
I have to think Lipsey could have prevented a little of that drama at the end but the guys played nearly perfect for 30 minutes.

TCU is a really good team. ISU has beaten 2 very tough teams in conference play already and without Tamin
TCU never had possession with the margin being less than 4. Of course winning by double digits would have been preferred, but that final 3 made the score/game look even closer or more tense than it was.
