i love college

should i buy all my books?

No. I always waited through at least the first week of classes to see if you were actually going to need the book or not. A lot of times I would wait until I was actually assigned reading or homework that absolutely required a book. You'll be surprised how many classes say list a required text and never use it.

Depends on your major. If it is engineering, yes.

I still use most of my engineering books from school. Pull them out for references and to get equations. Also, studying for the PE - I'm finding out that I wish I had held on to more of my homework from back in the day.

No. I always asked the prof if any test material was taken from the book that wasn't in their class notes. If not, and we didn't need it for any other reason, then I wouldn't buy one. Some profs just use the text book as a source for supplemental information along with the class notes and its not required, even though they say it is. Do some checking around before you spend your money.

We’re going streaking.....oh wait a minute I can't do that anymore

Ames was a blast for the 5 years I was there, and now on the football weekends when I come back....

Same here. Oh well, it was fun and i wouldn't trade it for the world. Although the extra 2 years of student loans sucked.

With some hard work, I managed to squeeze in a 4 year engineering degree in 6 years.
