My dad and I were going to go to Baylor, OK State and Colorado to finish off our tour of the Big XII stadiums. Now I have a day of meet the company and interview on the Friday before the Baylor game. So long going to all the Big XII stadiums before I graduate (although I can't complain a whole lot).

You aren't missing much. Ok stadium... boring atmosphere. Although things may have changed in the last 4 years.

I hear what you're saying, but it's still disappointing considering all the road trips started by my persuading him to try to hit all the stadiums before I graduate (which is in December).

Like I said, I can't complain about a whole lot. I know I've been spoiled, and it will be on TV. Plus I get to make a case for making the big bucks:yes:

The game doesn't start until 6:00pm on Saturday, if that gives you enough time to get down there....

Yeah, but it was a combination of this, and school, and a number of other obligations that made me decide that I should just slow down and focus on the things that are REALLY important. Baylor will be there for a while, I hope. And, of any of the stadiums, it sounds like Baylor is the one to miss.

I'd say you have had a hell of an opportunity to visit 10 of 11 away stadiums. Pretty impressive. What did you take from each place as a souvenir?

Really no souvenirs. Our "thing" started at Nebraska when we went early to check out the hall of fame/museum thing at the stadium and we were able to get down onto the field just snooping around. Since then, we have tried to get down onto the field at every stadium we've been to.

At A&M we went too close to the gate open time, and the guard said he wouldn't let us down. At Tech we got there just after the bomb squad had just done their sweep of the stadium (I kid you not) but we found a guard that let us down to field level. At OU we got there at about midnight and they let us in, but their field has laser alarms, so they only let us on the sidelines.

What about sharks with laser beams attached to their heads???? :biglaugh:

You'll miss the bear rolling around in a baby pool with ice and the tarp over endzone seating.

Nice work making it to the other stadiums though, very impressive!

It is a beautiful stadium now! It helps when you have T. Boone Pickens donating hundreds of millions to the program!:notworthy:
