It could have an effect on that, but I hope we are never to the level where the Big 12 North Champion is 6-6, although teams have been close a few times.

I rooted for Iowa when they played UNI. I hate hearing UNI fans claim they are as good as ISU and Iowa. They should get pounded by both teams EVERY time.

I would cheer for Nebraska and every other big 12 team to pound iowa and every other big 10 team.

I've gotten to the point where I'm for our conference first. After that I'm mostly indifferent. I used to really hate the Hawks, but that faded. I don't get any satisfaction in watching them lose, unless it's to us.

I know that it will be a cold day in... um... it will be a really cold day before I visit Kinnick as a paying member of the crowd. There's a ton of animosity towards the NU around here, but I've been treated much better on my trips to Memorial than my trips to Kinnick.

I wonder if that has anything to do with not winning there since the 70's. I'm not trying to be funny at all, seriously I wonder if you'll get the same treatment in two years.
