Well that's a bit of a buzzkill.

The "Texas Triangle" hyperloop would be sweet. If you guys think traffic between Des Moines and Ames is bad... Try driving on I-35 between Dallas and San Antonio. It would be nice to get some high-speed alternatives for that region.

Worst thing about making that 4 lane was I no longer get to go past Le Grand Sanitation's World Headquarters.

Musk is one of those visionaries that we need to have technology continue to advance by leaps and bounds. However, there are some issues with hyperloop that will be tough to overcome. Some of which were recently highlighted here: Why the Biggest Obstacle for Elon Musk's Hyperloop Might Be Tunnels

Yeah, visionaries are in a tough spot with the current government.
