My God, what a team you guys have.

No sarcasm at all. CPR is building the Clones into a program that I think will DOMINATE in the new Big 12.

Everything your team showed today is without a doubt the greatest turnaround in all of college ball. You have much to be proud of. I know that sounds like a condescending BS statement from the winning team's fans, but I really mean it with all honesty and utmost respect. What is happening with the Cyclones is an incredible renaissance and you really should be proud.

Iowa State deserved the win. In fact, I rooted for the Clones when it went to OT. I figured NU has no chance at a national championship game, and what better way for the Clones to enter the new Big 12? Of course, I am happy the Huskers won, but truly I would have been equally happy for the Clones to have won.

And CPR?

Holy golden steel balls. That man has got GUTS. I recall a NU coach with similar cajones, named Osborne, going for 2 when it meant everything for NU. And it also failed. But the respect it built is still in evidence today.

I think the Cyclone Nation had that moment today, and I salute you with all my heart. You are headed for great things, and you deserve it.

Whatever animosity might exist because of NU leaving for the Big 10, means nothing to this Husker fan at least. I suspect I speak for most of the NU fans when I say, I hope IOWA STATE is the rising KING of the Big 12. You have earned it, you deserve it, and I believe it is happening.

I will be rooting for and going out of my way to follow the Clones in all their games in future years.

I do regret that we won't meet again any time soon, and not because the series has been lopsided, but because I would love to see what the Huskers and Clones would develop in terms of rivalry. Wow, that would have been an amazing series.

Since that won't happen, I hope you develop a great rival in the Big 12. I think either Misery or Oklahoma would be a great one. Misery is a flash in the pan, I think. Sooners are always a good target.

I will be watching the Clones next year with great anticipation. Your moment is magic, well-deserved, and I cannot wait to see you all smoke the others. Big 12 champs is in reach. A dynasty is in reach. You have waited long enough, and CPR is the man to bring it.

With utmost respect, and some regrets that this is the end aside from bowl games,

I wish TampaHusker sat behind me at the game rather than those two shrews.

That's very nice. Thank you. I'm kind of sad to see NU go too, mostly because of what this rivalry has been becoming the past 2 years. 2 years of great football to close out the series... can't ask for much more.

Classy post....(picture a standing O)....and I hope that you can put the Squawks in eastern iowa in there place for many years to come!

Thank you, and watch out, I would not be surprised if some drunkards start replying in t-minus 3 minutes. But if you want to continue to have reasonable football discussions, stick around this board.

I think there is a shift going on in the Big 12...not trying to crack on NU but they are getting out at the right time.

I was thinking this myself

100% agree... You guys are on the cusp of something great.... I wish nothing but the best to the ISU nation in the coming years, and thank God we dont have to play any more close calls with you.... Great game, and get ready to roll in the future....

An incredible game, and it could have gone either way. Probably, if there was actual justice, the Clones would have won.

I think CPR is the exact recipe for a huge Clone attack. I look for you to win the Big 12 next year. And probably the following year or two.

I hope, I really do, that Iowa State is prepared to pay the man. If not, there is a risk of losing him to some other team who is down on their luck. (Texas? My goodness, I hope not, but they have more money than everyone but Notre Dame).

CPR is a native Iowan though, and I don't see it. He is in it for the love of the game and the kids, or at least I believe that. You guys have a TIGER in your midst. Holy cow, I cannot wait to see the Clones tear this league apart.

Good luck, I (and so many others) will be watching with anticipation in future years.

GO CYCLONES!!!

With all my respect,

TampaHusker
