1600 left and I bet there are over 1000 Cyclones that have already bought tickets.
Dolph can probably line up a couple charter bus loads of fans, but Fran needs to come through on the tickets.
Welp. If Iowa can't sell out CHA, I guess the game will need to be at Hilton from now on.
We need to quit playing these lower teams at their arenas. If Iowa wants to play us, they should just have to do it at the Big4 Classic alternating with UNI and Drake. That way we only see one of them every three years. Nothing to gain from these games.
A win is big deal you beat the Hawkeyes, a loss is almost always a blemish on the resume come March. They really are no different than Drake or UNI.
Better keep Maishe out of the way - he keeps his head down & might not see those big rigs coming!
CHA is a terrible place to go though. Takes an hour to get the first 500 feet out of the parking lot. Just horrific traffic.
Park at the wig/vine or in manville/university heights. A slight walk gets you out quick. I can’t imagine paying for parking passes there and then having to wait an hour to get out.
I know you're joking but the lesser in-state programs should play at Hilton and Hilton only.
Not sure why but this photo from another thread here back in 2012 popped into my head when you talked about cars in Iowa City.

Can’t believe one if the hok trolls hasn’t responded to this yet with their obligatory “because CHAs capacity is bigger than Hilton”. That’s their go to when talk about poor attendance at their football games.
