I'm really hoping this guy lives up to expectations and gets to see the field next year. Anyone have any updates on him? Did he redshirt last year?

JFC I hate threads with titles like this. I guess it's on me for always assuming the worst, but still....

Hopefully he can come in next year and really improve the center position. Downing was great a guard but just really struggled this year with snaps and leading the line like a center needs to do.

I'm hoping for the best with switching him to O line because I think he was a 4 star D lineman coming out of high school. I think we only had one O line sign yesterday. I know that one guy flipped to Illinois but man I hope and trust they have a good plan in place.

Had two Oline plus a Walk-on that was getting G5 offers, but is walking on with us.

Thread title police need to take a Christmas break.

It would be nice if he's good enough to move into the starting C spot next season. You have some good experience on either side of him with Simmons and Hufford. I assume that the new OL coach will have those guys getting closer to their peak level of play. Same with Miller and Remsburg at T. If someone else is able to beat those guys out, all the better.
